This is a true story of an Ordinary man with an extra-ordinary vision.

Dr. T P Sasikumar

by
ANUSHA / Manager – INFOSYS at HYDERABAD

He hails from a humble background of modest resources and always tried to make best of it. Though initially he was not good in studies, slowly and steadily he started valuing education immensely as it has made him what he is today.  He obtained number of degrees and has many feathers to his hat.
He worked as a scientist in Space Department for two decades and also served as Deputy Director at Directorate General of Security, Cabinet Secretariat, New Delhi before taking a voluntary retirement in 2009. He would have reached many heights in Indian Government if had continued with it, but he opted against it as he always had an inner passion to teach and show the right direction to the otherwise directionless youth of today’s generation.
He started giving Motivation Lectures in various educational institutes and explained the youngsters the value education, the value of knowledge, throughout length and breadth of India and abroad. He taught Personality Development and Leadership Qualities to tens of thousands of youth. There are thousands of students who got motivated through his lectures and have made a clear plan for their career and hence traversed the path of success.  He always has a passion and love towards activities as he believes that teaching through activities will help in developing a longer retention power in students and hence most of his teachings will be through activities. He also learnt various Indian heritages through Veda, Upanishads and Thanthra, astrology and vasthu from many expert gurus in those areas. Further he studied Hypnotism and also many therapies including REIKI, Pranic Healing and got self-initiated with ESOTERIC Healing and DOWSING.  His practice of Meditation is Meditation in Action.
He also conducted few week long summer sessions in Hyderabad and Kerala on the request of the students. Students believe that he is a walking Encyclopedia as whatever questions they ask (it may be on any subject/any field), there will be an answer from him. On the request from the students who have attended his summer session in Hyderabad, he continued these knowledge sessions on every Saturday and Sunday and also on every general holiday, hence these sessions were named as Holiday Sessions. A group of students in Hyderabad have got benefitted through these Holiday sessions, by spending all their holidays constructively with him in gaining Knowledge as Knowledge always makes a difference and these group of students had always outshone in whatever they did and wherever they are. Meeting him made a lot of difference to their life. His varied interest in learning has also encouraged students associated with him to take anything and anything and everything that comes to them as learning. Hence, all his students started loving knowledge, respecting our rich culture and heritage.
He also conducts Teacher training sessions as he believes that teachers are the ones who make tomorrow’s citizens. He teaches them what is Effective and Affective teaching, educational techniques etc. He has already reached more than three laths of teachers. He was Director of UGC-Academic Staff College at Calicut University in Kerala. One of the pivotal positions in UGC setup.
He believes in Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, Social and Spiritual balanced Life and his Soft Skill and LIFE skill trainings are for this. He has high Innovative – Creative Thoughts and is a Leader for the Development of Society. He is a true educationalist as seen in his CSR activity ICON at Palakkad (uplifting the down trodden students to international standards).  He had a two year tenure as Management Professor in an Engineering College under Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University at Hyderabad. He headed an Engineering College in Kerala as Executive Director for an year.  Now is a consultant for an International School being planned in North Kerala. He is in advisory board in many of the Trusts and contribute in great amount in any projects that helps students.
He is always available to all the students from any part of the globe for doubts regarding any subject, life, career etc.., through personal meetings, phone, email, Social Media like Facebook, Twitter and also through his Website. He writes so many informative blogs, numbering over 60,  for the benefit of those who want to learn, acquire knowledge. He has the passion for LIFE (Learning is Investment for Future Learning / Live or learn in Full Enjoyment) has made him to author books like LIFE made SIMPLE, LIFE of LOVE, LIFE is to LIVE, LIFE Reflections etc. Anyone who wants to listen to his sessions could also get them through his You Tube channel which has over 400 of his uploads. EFIL (CIVIL Aspirants Group – Ekalavya for Future India Leadership) is his learners group. A few of them shared articles and he corrected them to compile them as “Raising of India by the Rays of India”. This gave the contributors a positive view on Indian Development. His books are so close to heart those who read them will find solutions for all problems and found highly motivational and grievance redressing tips. Most of his feedbacks and interactions are so touching as the students open up and cry on the stage, as they feel he is the sole healing heart close to them. His testimonials and you tubes are testimony on this.
He is a good poet, writes in many languages, had the wit of writing telugu poems and translations of small rhyms from English to all languages. He knows all south Indian languages and can converse in Bagla and gujarathi and hindi being fluent can reach any part of remote north india too.  He has great interest in Films (was one instrumental for Oman Film Festival and took some documentories). His political interest and knowledge in politics are super as he makes predictions and remarks that is too sharp and critical.
Public talks and Spiritual lectures are seen by many and adore him as a man of spiritual guru. It is unusual to see a man with high intellect and being in true scientific analysis and spirit being so active ion spirituality and talks in temples on rituals and bhakthi / vedantha etc. His Geetha and Mahabharatha classes are appreciated by youth as they have the present days relationship and he speaks as if they are related to each of us around.
His articles in periodicals are so simple and clear carrying deeper thoughts within. This could be the reason his book LIFE made SIMPLE was credited as MODERN THIRUKKURAL by the reviewer (Late) Prof.Akavoor Narayanan from Delhi.
Covered by many medias, papers, magazines including Discovery Channel on Kumba Mela etc. had many awards in his credit. But feel that he deserves more credits and awards. He works independent and has less professional / organizational support.
He has two shelters made one at Irinjalakuda/Trichur and one at naduvil/Kannur where he is planning to have sessions for youth. He is planning to have that as his resting place to share knowledge who want to learn apart from a place of UNCONCONFERENCING SPIRITUALITY as he puts it. He visits Hyderabad and spares time with his family and students in between his tight lecture schedules.
